Paramount Hotel New York
The 18-storey Paramount Hotel Times Square towers in the very heart of New York City, specifically located at 235 West 46th Street at Eighth Avenue. This remarkable property that is designed by Philippe Stark has easily nab the title of one of the most fashionable Midtown Manhattan boutique hotels located in New York.
Built to cater every traveler and sightseer in New York, the Paramount Hotel offers up to 567 comfortable and well-furnished guestrooms that are designed with modern, pop-Nuevo prints, furnishings and one-of-a-kind wall art.

Raves and good remarks have been given to Paramount Hotel. Such is the statement of the City Landmarks Preservation Commission: “is lavishly decorated with foliage swags, ornate keystones, shells, angels’ heads and other details. The building steps back gradually on the higher floors to an imposing central pavilion, and is capped by a high copper mansard roof with two stories of elaborate dormers, enormous urns and projecting pediments.”

The Paramount has also been associated with various known performers and musicians. The Paramount Hotel Grill has been the host of jazz performances from the 1930s onwards. The Memphis Stompers also held a memorable performance in this hotel at the height of the band’s fame in the year 1931.

“Ask for Pete at the check in desk”

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The room was perfect and spacious considering its NYC-times square location. Pete at the check in desk was more than accommodating and was extremely helpful. This place is a great deal.
“Great experience for a great price!”

I had heard about the Paramount for years and was finally able to stay with my group there. The staff (especially Brian the doorman) was exceptionally helpful and friendly. My only real criticism is that the rooms are so small, but then again, it is NYC. I really only needed a bed to lay my head at the end of the day and what a comfortable bed it was. I felt very at home at the Paramount and would gladly recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a great value in a great location. I'll give this hotel 5 stars.

I had a wonderful stay at the Paramount Hotel. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very helpful. Brian the doorman was great. He helped bring in mine and my fiances luggage and helped us load it. He also had a cab waiting for us whenever we needed one. My stay at the Paramount was very pleasant! The concierge did wonderful job helping us to pick what we wanted to do in the time we had and helped book all the tickets and reservations.

“Our stay in a noisy closet”

We arrive shortly after 3:00. The room would not be ready for an hour. Hungry, went to Dean and Deluca in Hotel.
Besides the complaining homeless seated there, it was cccold!
Later saw the room! Unbelievable! Truely I have had a bath in Las Vegas larger. No view. Felt like a closet. Then found that the ice machine was two doors down on the other side. No matter. We heard every bucket poured. After the 1st nite, housekeeping failed to clean the room. Result? No toilet paper. What a treat!
“the worst experience I have ever had”

I travel every month to NYC for work and have stayed in many hotels. This BY FAR was the worst experience I have ever had.
I stayed at the Paramount twice before and in those instances I would have given it a poor rating based on the unhelpful staff, no AC (but the heat works even when you turn it off) and dirty bathroom. So why did i go back you ask? Well, unfortunately my company booked me in the hotel again because that was all that was available for the large group that was traveling to NYC.
