“Excellent hotel in excellent location!”

The hotel staff were all helpful and always smiling. The concierge helped us find a restaurant to eat on Christmas day. Our room was of a good size, much larger than ones we've had in New York before. The bed was massive and there was a walk in closet for clothes, as well as a desk. The bathroom was a good size with a bathtub and powerful shower. The maid service was also very good and the room looked fantastic each time we returned at the end of the day. All in all a great hotel and I'm sure we will return next time we are in the city. The only negative I would point out, which isn't the end of the world, is that wireless internet was $14.99 a day and not free like other hotels I've stayed at.

We stayed in Fitzpatricks Grand Central Hotel for six nights during Christmas. We were extremely happy with this hotel. Staff were friendly, concierge was helpful and courteous. The room was immaculately clean, it was a good size as was the bathroom. The shower also worked well. It is located off Lexington avenue, just a short walk from grand Central Station and a 15-20 minute walk to Times Square. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a high quality hotel in a quiet location.

I Just arrived from NYC and I've stayed at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central as my group stayed at the Grand Hyatt that is next this hotel. But while I've being there I realised that this hotel is much better than the Hyatt for exemple that costs much more.
The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms have good sizes, extremely comfortable beds. The hotels brings us a feel of personal service, as it's not a big hotel.
When I return to NYC it will always be my place to stay.

“Don't bother staying here”

Lobby area and bar area were a dump. Bedroom - bed nice but no wardrobes so lived out of suitcases for 5 days just a small closet, no mirror in the room only bathroom which was where the hairdryer point was, so the door opened onto you when drying your hair! We had just come off the QM2 and this was definitely a second class hotel compared to the ship. Food and drinks were extortionate and a different price each time you re-ordered a drink. Food was terrible and a rip off, steak sandwich and a small shepherds pie was $66! We would never advise anyone to stay at this hotel, grubby and unfriendly

Honestly, I hate it!. The breakfast that was included in my room rate was terrible and could not be substituted for another breakfast by paying the price difference.
WiFi access had to be paid for extra and was expensive.
