When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by the manager. He walked me right to the front desk and checked me in. Room was clean, just a bit dark. I like a lot of light. The internet worked Great and the staff was helpful when I needed directions to my meeting.

A great hotel: euro boutique place, nice lobby, marble in bathrooms, close to subways but not in the middle of times square, friendly European staff It's always my first choice when traveling to NYC.

I took a group of travelers here for a few meetings with companies. The hotel has a perfect location. I would recommend getting a room with a street view, as the inside rooms do face each other. The front desk staff were second-to-none. We were checked in prior to arrival (which is helpful considering I had 12 rooms booked).

I'm not exaggerating but it truly was the night from H#*L. We were in a room with a damp rug, and sloped floor beneath it. Water damage evidenced in the hallways. There was not one lightbulb higher than 25 watts. When we asked for help with lighting, there was no solution to be given.
