I was organizing a conference in New York in October and wanted to stay a few additional days to relax bit afterwards, so I decided to book two nights a the Bentley Hotel. I booked a single room via HRS (Hotel Reservation Service).

The Bentley is beautiful, stylish, clean, and comfortable. We booked online, got upgraded to a suite, and had a gorgeous room with an unbelievable view!! I can't imagine that there is a better value in NYC.

Okay this is a tip to everyone traveling to New York should know. Do not use Super Shuttle! It is more expensive than taking a cab and the time lost because you have to drop off other passengers is ridiculous. I paid $32 dollars through Expedia and found out it was only $28.50 at the Super Shuttle counter (already $3.50)
Poor:
“unprofessional attitude”

Most of hotel people were nice as written in other reviews. However, every day after making up my room, they charged me items in mini bar which I had not even touched!!! I told a girl in the hotel front, and claimed about those charges on the bills that I was not even aware of. Her attitude was so unprofessional.
“If you want a modern, light, clean hotel near the centre of town - don't stay here”

The Bentley is dark, gloomy, unkempt, and has few facilities. I have thrown out better furniture than they have in the hotel. The bathroom was good, and the beds were clean, but oh dear, the rest of the room and the hotel are awful.
